Contracts and Canceling
If you sign a contract with A-Rest-A-Pest, it is for one year and we come out once a month. If you would like to cancel the contract before the one year term is up, there will be a $70.00 charge. After your year term is up and you would like to cancel, we require a written request from you.
Termite Inspections
A termite inspection costs $65.00 per inspection for a house 3,000 square feet and under if paid through escrow. Please call for an estimate of any house over 3,000 square feet.
Apartments
Pricing runs $20.00 per apartment building (outside only) and $10.00 per unit (inside).
Concrete and Construction
$0.14 - $0.25 per square foot: we charge by the square foot of the job being treated (for example 3,000 square feet x 0.14 = $420.00).
Bombs
$8.00 per bomb kills the insects that are in the room. You must stay out of the home for three hours after the treatment.
Estimate
$25.00 for us to come out and look at the problem and tell you the best solution for the bird situation you are dealing with. This $25.00 estimate charge will go toward the service you choose to get rid of the pigeons.
Avitrol (Corn with Poison)
THIS IS IF YOU WANT TO KILL THE BIRDS.
We bait the birds with real corn until we notice they are eating it (this could take up to at least 5 days to get rid of the birds). Then when we are sure the birds are eating the corn, we add a poison called Avitrol. The birds will then eat the poisonous corn, fly away, and die in about an hour.

Bird Point (Spikes)
Spikes cost $8.00 a foot and there is also a service charge of $65.00 an hour. To place the spikes on someone's home usually takes an hour at the least.
Bird Slides
The bird slides cost $7.00 a foot and there is also a service fee of $65.00 an hour. Bird slides installed on your roof prevent birds from ever landing on your roof because they just slide right off. Slide installation takes a minimum of $65.00.
Cleaning
Clean-up is NOT a part of our regular service. For an extra fee of $300 and possibly more (depending on the size of your home), we do make special exception.
